What you actually notice

Swing it round and click
Unclip one side, place the cushion on your nose, swing the headgear around your head and click it back. It holds its shape while you do it, so you are not wrestling a limp strap in the dark.
Sits low and rolls with you
The RollFit cushion sits lower on the nose than most nasal masks and rolls as you move, which is what keeps the seal when you turn over rather than waking you with a leak.
Pivoting, and magnet-free
The clips swivel as you move instead of dragging the mask across your face, which is part of why it suits side and stomach sleepers. They are mechanical rather than magnetic, so the implant contraindications that rule out many other nasal masks do not apply here.
Washable diffuser
Air leaves through a diffuser rather than a bare vent, so it is quieter and the draft does not land on whoever is next to you. It comes out and washes.
AirEdge fabric on the arms
The stability arms are wrapped in soft fabric rather than bare plastic, which is aimed at the red marks most people find on their cheeks in the morning.
Front or over the head
An included clip lets you run the hose over the top of your head instead of down your front. Useful if you sleep on your side or your machine sits behind you.
Packing it
You are on a travel CPAP site, so here is the part the manufacturer page will never tell you.
- No forehead support, so it folds flat and takes up very little room beside a travel machine.
- Use the tube clip to run the hose over your head in a hotel bed where the machine has to sit behind you rather than beside you.
- Take a spare cushion on a long trip. It is the part that wears, and the one part you cannot improvise a substitute for.
- Pack it in your carry-on with your machine. Most airlines do not count CPAP equipment towards your cabin baggage allowance, though it is worth confirming with yours before you fly.
- AirMini users need the ZephAir adapter. Buy it now rather than discovering it in a hotel room.
